Project Summary

The Public Action Center will provide organizations with the web-based software they need to frame, organize and facilitate "actions"--communication from an organizations' constituents to government and/or corporate actors. The software should also track the constituents' communications so the sponsoring organization can measure the effectiveness of the action.

Basic Functionality:

allows constituents to register, giving personal information
allows an organization to create email lists of their constituents according to various criteria, and email these constituents "action alerts"
enables an organization to design "actions" that are displayed on their website
lookup any information needed to determine the contact information for the recipient of the action
format and process the constituents' action communications
provide the organization with statistics and useful information about the actions
