Project Summary

Salahtime is a small PHP application that displays the Islamic prayer times for the cities of Copenhagen, Odense, Århus in Denmark and Malmø in Sweden.

Salahtime can manually switch between summertime and wintertime.

Salahtime is not based on calculation but on observation. Observations of Subh-Sadiq and the disappearance of Shafaq at various locations on earth have confirmed that to calculate Fajr and Isha, assuming any fixed degree (whether 18o or 15o) or any fixed minutes (like 90 minutes or 75 minutes) is not right, but you can read more on that on the manpage.

If you can provide accurate prayer time tables for other cities in the world, based upon observation, please do!

Includes:

KNL Software licens - do with it what you like, almost identical to BSD licens, but you don't even need to keep the copyright notice. A documentation with clear installation and usage instructions. PHP Salahtime has a C++ console equivalent on http://code.google.com/p/salahtime/
