Yesterday we published a first version of PHProjekt 6, the 'developer preview edition'. Please read the full article in our P6 blog. There you will also find links to the download package, the demo installation, the mailing list and other resources.

Today we uploaded a new beta version of PHProjekt 5.3 We fixed many bugs and we enhanced the caldav server so with the new version of lightning 0.9 you can get the free /busy status of the other group members and invite them to meetings. Here is the zip and here the tarball

We moved phprojekt.com to a new server! The CMS and some applications like the phpMyFAQ should run much faster now. We also fixed some bugs, e.g. the captcha in the forum works again. If you encounter any problems with the new site, please mails us. Albrecht

After seven years of development and maintenance, we think that it is time to reinvent PHProjekt. Though it is still pretty popular and has a lot of functions, the source code is outdated and maintenance gets more and more difficult. Therefore we ... In a study of the German Fraunhofer Institute IAO comparing "17 open source collaboration platforms", PHProjekt was rated as the top platform. With the beginning of 2008 we release a new edition of PHProjekt. Please notice that PHProjekt 5.3 is still in beta phase. Among some bugfixes our main focus was on implementing many new features, which will make your life with PHProjekt more comfortable.
