Project Summary

PiraTux is a 2D game which is (not) a clone of the "Pirates!" and "Pirates! Gold" games distributed by Microprose.
Although it is a 2D game which gives the player the feeling that he is a pirate of the carribean and gives him the opportunity to conduct his carrier, like "Pirates!". It is still not a clone even if it features the same atmosphere as "Pirates!" and the same context-oriented gameplay.
PiraTux is developped in C and it heavily relies on Free libraries and Free Tools. This game is a Free Game, as it is released under the GNU GPL. Only open file format are used. All artworks are created from scratch.
