The Plone Foundation Board of Directors has announced the selection of T. Kim Nguyen and Rob Porter as the newest members of the Plone Foundation.

We'd like to remind you all to submit talks for the Ploneconf 2012 in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Talks are the backbone of the day to day schedule and therefore vital to the success of the conference. We already have some wonderful submissions, but there are still some slots to be filled. The deadline for submission is August 15th.

The Plone conference venue in Arnhem is called Musis Sacrum, one of the landmarks in the city and vital to the cultural sector in this region. This week we provide you with an in-depth report on this remarkable building, home to the Plone Conference 2012 in October.

We have more than forty people wearing our Plone t-shirt today and having fun (we organized a dinner for the Plone Community yesterday, with 30 people attending).

The last evening party for the 2012 Plone Conference is going to be a blast!

Clad in t-shirts designed for the event, more than 30 members community will represent Plone at the largest Python event in Europe next week - July 2-8.
