Project Summary

The goal of this project is to create a clone of the Unix application "Screen" (we will call it PowerScreen). Screen is a text based console window manager. It allows multiple virtual consoles per console and it is easy to switch between virtual consoles. One of the big benefits of screen is that you can detach from a Screen session and re-attach from another location at some time in the future. I would imagine that the networking aspect for PowerScreen would be handled by telnet or SSH (just connect via SSH and launch PowerScreen)

Each virtual console will be a full PowerShell run space.

PowerScreen will allow searching through the buffer history of each virtual console.
