We've got a new release out with many bug fixes, and some new features. You can download it here. See the ChangeLog for specific changes made since 1.5.1. Some of the major changes include: A new TROVE method that uses pthreads instead of AIO ... [More] , and can provide significant performance improvements over the default trove method which uses AIO. To enable the alternate trove method, see the TroveMethod option entry. New server config options that allow tuning of the flow buffers, provide root squash and read only capabilities. Also, there are a few important things to be aware of with this release: Notice that we've changed the release name of PVFS slightly. This release is PVFS version 2.6.0. What was previously referred to as PVFS2 1.x.x is now PVFS 2.x.x. This allows us to encapsulate the design version number in the leftmost digit, instead of as part of the name. See our versioning faq entry for further info. As with 1.5.0 and 1.5.1, the storage format is different from the 1.4.0 version and earlier. If you are upgrading to 2.6.0 directly from 1.4.0, you must migrate to the new format. See this faq entry for further information. If you are upgrading to 2.6.0 from 1.5.x, then no migration is necessary. [Less]
