Project Summary

PyICafe - Pythonic Internet Café AdministrationRationaleThere aren't too many programs for GNU/Linux for administering Internet Cafés. The only really usable ones that I've found are CCLFox and gBilling (in development). CCLFox is nice enough, does the job, but I've had issues compiling it and setting up on more recent *buntus, and gBilling has yet to add internationalization support (right now it's only available in Indonesian). So I've decided to write my own.

DetailsProgramming language: Python (what else?) Database: PySQLite Networking: AutoConnect (many thanks to Oisín Mulvihill for this lovely library that takes care of the networking part of the project for me!) GUI: PyGTK TimelineIt'll get done when it gets done. :) I'll try to find time between university and other commitments. Just don't hold your breath waiting for updates (or if you are, you're welcome to help out with the project!).
