Now I’m compiling Octave 3.4. There are some features of Octave 3.4 that are very interesting for QtOctave. Now Octave can install packages from Octaveforge itself. This feature can be implemented in package instaler of QtOctave. I will release this new changes in QtOctave 0.10.2 (soon)

Cristobal has build a rpm for Mandriva 2010.1 and 2010.2. To install it, you have to add MIB repositories. You can read more about this rpm in this post. He is going to upload a deb package for Ubuntu this weekend. Thanks Cristobal

Cristobal has build QtOctave-0.9.1 for Ubuntu 10.04. You can read original post here. Thanks Cristobal. To install it, you must open a new Terminal and write: sudo su - add-apt-repository ppa:lopeztobal/maths apt-get update apt-get upgrade apt-get install qtoctave exit
