Project Summary

Remote Call Framework (RCF) is a portable C++ middleware framework using native C++ language features to avoid manual code generation. An overview of RCF is available on CodeProject , and a User Guide is also available.

RCF 1.2 is distributed under the GPL license. For RCF-based non-GPL compatible applications, a commercial license is available and can be obtained from the author.

RCF 1.2 has been tested on Windows, Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD and OS X platforms, with the following compilers:

Visual C++ 6 Visual C++ 7.1 Visual C++ 8.0 (32 and 64 bit) Visual C++ 9.0 (32 and 64 bit) gcc 3.2 - 3.4 (32 and 64 bit) gcc 4.x (32 and 64 bit) Borland C++ 5.6 (Borland C++ Builder 6) Borland C++ 5.9 (Borland C++ Builder 2007) Metrowerks CodeWarrior 9.2 Intel C++ 9.0 for Windows Intel C++ 10.1 Windows In addition, third parties have deployed RCF on QNX and WinCE.
