Project Summary

This is a set of tools for for manipulating GPS Track Logs (".GPL") files generated by DeLorme's(tm) mapping products. It can also import data from ASCII and Cetus GPS. A command line Win NT/2K/9x interface exists and a GUI is in development.

While the package does allow converting ".gpl" files to/from ASCII text files, the more interesting features include the ability to extract stops, change the speed and time values stored in the file, output to an "Orienteering Style Format" (heading/distance), and output to VRML.

The code for the project is not currently under source control, but is available as part of the download packages.

The project is not actively maintained, but it is hoped that it may serve as a good reference.
