Project Summary

Represent e-portfolioAn e-portfolio system, developed in Ruby on Rails, with built-in social networking.

If you have any questions or would like to contribute: http://groups.google.com/group/represent-portfolio

FeaturesUsers can create an e-portfolio, with achievements, activities, experience, meetings, blog posts and links to content elsewhere on the internet that they consider part of their portfolio Everything in the portfolio can be either private, shared or public Social networking - users can add contacts who can then see shared content in that users portfolio Public can be made visible to your whole institution, or the internet depending on how it is hosted User administration system Clean, easily customizable interface It was originally developed with the aim of being released as a supported product, but since then a few other things have come along that I am now working on - so I've decided to make it freely available.

It currently runs on version 2.1.2 of Rails.

I have provided a sample database. If you download the source and then run

./script/server

Then navigate to http://0.0.0.0:3000/home/login and login as test/test you should be taken to the admin users portfolio.

As an admin user you can login to http://0.0.0.0:3000/users.

When you have created a user going to http://0.0.0.0:3000/portfolio/_username_ will take you to the sample portfolio.
