Project Summary

socklib is a C++ library useful for rapid development of network applications. The library is developed for 32-bit windows platforms using Microsoft Visual C++ 2005. Except for ws2_32.lib, it does not use anything specific to Microsoft Windows OS.

Some of the applications that were developed using this library include:

mysql Protocol version 10 client class Microsoft SQL server Tabular Data Stream (TDS) protocol client class hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) server class. http://aiht.org and http://sekar.org servers were written using socklib. these servers are behind a 128 kbps IDSL line. simple mail transfer protocol (SMTP) client class trivial file transfer protocol (TFTP) server class telnet client class and many more.

Documentation comes with many examples to get you started.
