We presented the implementation of an opportunistic protocol relied on TCP/IP and Bluetooth for the establishment of wireless communication of Bluetooth devices. The protocol allowed an adaptive behaviour in rapidly-changing environments. At the heart of that protocol lied an heuristic method which provided high success rate and stability for the HTTP connection. A mobile phone application in J2ME was developed as a case of study in order to monitor and test the protocol.
