Project Summary

This is the new forge of the MORFEO Open Source Community. This new forge is based on the technology developed within the Vulcano project, which is a new generation forge that follows Web 2.0 principles and uses emergent Web 2.0 technologies. The model of the services provided by the forge is based on REST resources, and the user interface has been developed using the EzWeb mash-up platform. This new forge implementation will allow, on one side, an easier and more flexible integration of heterogeneous tools and, by the other side, will provide the users with an interface easy to customize according to their needs.
The forge is composed by a kernel with a set of basic services and infrastructure to allow the integration of new services. This kernel has been named as EzForge, so you can get more detailed and technical information about this forge in the EzForge site.
