Project Summary

Description:

A bot what will play games (1vs1) for you and possibly win 40% of the time. This bot is designed as an afk bot to have on while you are not at the computer, which will gain you extra wins to get that 1500 icon faster (about 4.5 months if you only bot). This bot is for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and it currently plays only Undead but it will play other races in future versions. This bot will search for a game, train about 10 ghouls and a death knight, then attack the enemy. If it's successful it will win if not it will wait until its either loss or 16 minutes are up. I have it wait 16 minutes to keep the average game time at a reasonable number. I will add an option later to make it leave as soon as it fails. After its all done it will redo the process until you stop the bot.

Setup:

Open Warcraft III in windowed mode. To do this create a shortcut to Warcraft III, then right click the icon and click properties. In the target field type -windowed after the last apostrophe, click OK. For example it will say this - Target: "D:\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe" -windowed Go to Options -> Gameplay -> Disable Mouse Scroll (checked) -> OK. Join a custom game online or offline on any map. Turn Creep Display off. Set Ally Color to either mode 2 or 3 where the enemy is red on the minimap. Turn formation grouping on (recommended). Log onto Battle.net select Undead and One vs One. Thumps down these maps: Broken Shard, Centaur Grove, Loste Temple, Tidewater Glades, and Gnoll Wood. Click play game, then stop the search. Open the bot Win BoT.exe, it needs admin privileges to read the hotkeys. Then hit F1 to start the bot, it can be started at the lobby, in a channel, or even in game.
