Project Summary
XRT is built on top of libxml2/libxslt (http://www.xmlsoft.org) and (right now) is python specific.
XRT turns HTTP requests into a DOM which you can then transform with a standard XSLT script. It's possible to dynamically load extension functions to get data into your XSLT.
The aims of the project are:
- to make REST and content-negotiation webapps easier to build and maintain
- to do away with complex apache config (like mod_rewrite)
- to allow a multi-skilled approach to webapp development
