Project Summary

xu‧ggle (zŭ' gl) v. To freely encode, decode, and experience audio and video.

With Xuggle you can write Java programs that decode or encode video.

It incorporates FFMPEG, but adds a simpler interface that is safe to use from Java-like languages (e.g. garbage collection) and tries hard to make sure usage of FFMPEG features doesn't crash a JVM.
