Ymacs is an open-source text editor for the Web similar in features and spirit to Emacs. It implements a lot of Emacs concepts such as kill ring, undo stack, multiple buffers, split windows, syntax highlighting, Emacs-like key bindings, programming modes (currently for JavaScript, XML, CSS, Lisp, and some basic support for editing Markdown text).
Currently works reliably in Firefox, but support for more browsers is planned.
