ZShellScripts enhances the Zope application server scripting facilities by featuring a "Script (ZShell)" Zope object type and some "Shell (xxx)" object types.
It allows you to create scripts which will delegate their execution to a Shell object corresponding to the language you used to write the script, in a way similar to common Unix shell scripts.
The goal of this project is to encourage people to invent new ways to deal with Zope's object database by creating or interfacing their own language. Currently sample scripts and interpreters are provided for the Python, Unix shell, Zope ZShell and Lisp languages.
