	Mercurial Community rating: 4 Notes: The ease of use and portability makes it a better choice than Git.
	Git Community rating: 4 Notes: Once you get used to it and resign to using cygwin on windows, git offers you raw speed and a robust fast-import to work with various SCM.
	PuTTY Community rating: 4 Notes: Best terminal emulator for Windows and probably the only SSH terminal that really works on windows. Without this, I would never have been able to do my work!
	Perl Community rating: 4 Notes: Just like git, it gives you all you want. Once you learn, you never want to move out. I am just not able to learn Python because I can do all I want in Perl.
	GNU Emacs Community rating: 4 Notes: Never seen an editor with a full blown programming language as an extension language. There is nothing you cannot do in the mighty Emacs.
	GNU Compiler Collection Community rating: 4 Notes: Most well ported and feature rich suite. You really do not gain by paying for a commercial equivalent.
	MinGW - Minimalist GNU for Windows Community rating: 4 Notes: A mini user land UNIX on windows. Makes me equally productive on Windoze.
	CMake Community rating: 4 Notes: All new projects and old projects which need portability, please switch to this truly amazing tool NOW
	GDB Community rating: 4 Notes: Works like a charm on GNU/Linux and works quite well on Windoze too!
D	distcc Community rating: 4 Notes: Wonder when I can see this on windoze and kick Incredibuild out of our environment
