This is an enhanced version of GLM, an Alias Wavefront OBJ file library for OpenGL, which was originally by Nate Robbins, with some enhancements by Jeff Rogers (from the GLM_AVL library).
Geeny is a scriptable game engine with built-in support for 2D, 3D graphics and sound. The scripting language is object oriented, high performance is attainable by using vector and array operations. Win32/Linux C++.
Important noticeStructure Synth has moved permanently to Source Forge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/structuresynth/.
The sources found here are obsolete and at some point I'll delete this repository.
Old DescriptionStructure Synth is an application for creating 3D structures from a set of
... [More] user specified rules.
It is an attempt to make a 3D version of Context Free.
It is built in C++, OpenGL, and Qt 4.3. Builds will (at some point) be provided for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
As of now this project is in prototyping phase.
My progress and design considerations can be followed at my Syntopia blog. [Less]
FreeSG ("Free" as in "Free software" and "Free of bloat") is an compact, general-purpose, open-source scene-graph library. It implements a generic, extensible object/scene representation, designed to simplify such tasks as real-time rendering and geometrical queries. One feature which distinguishes
... [More] FreeSG from the variety of scene-graph libraries available is its ability to solve systems of logical (geometrical) constraints such as angles and distances, in order to define the relationship between elements of a scene, in a powerful and unambiguous way. [Less]
OpenHoW aims to be an open-source implementation of Hogs of War, a game produced by Gremlin Interactive.
The entire project is being built from the ground, supporting content from both the PC and PSX releases of the game, and the end goal will be to produce a completely open and free version of
... [More] the game, featuring completely new assets to replace those of the original (think FreeDOOM).
Right now the project is only in it's infancy and a lot of focus is currently going towards producing an engine for the game to be built upon; right now the primary part of this is creatively called the platform library.
Another task that is currently being looked into are tools that will allow for easy modification of OpenHoW - though compatibility with the original isn't a huge concern right now. [Less]
