Cargo

Compare

Cargo is a thin wrapper around existing containers (e.g. J2EE containers). It provides different APIs to easily manipulate containers. Cargo features: * A Java API to start/stop/configure Java Containers. * A Java API to (remotely or locally) deploy modules into these containers, be it a ... [More] server alone, a farm or a cluster. * A Java API to parse/create/merge J2EE modules. * ANT tasks wrapping the Java API for configuring, starting, stopping and deploying applications to all supported containers. * A Web interface that wraps the Java API that can be used to configure, start and stop all containers supported by Cargo remotely and at any time. * Maven2/Maven3 plugins wrapping the Java API for configuring, starting, stopping and deploying applications to all supported containers. ci-factory

The goal of this project is to provide a working Continuous Integration Server to a client in just a few minutes. Very often with tools like Cruise Control and NAnt it can take a few days to a few weeks for a client to produce a working server. CI Factory takes these products and integrates them ... [More] for you. If you abide by the naming conventions and directory structure laid down by CI Factory it will just work. Similar to Ruby there is a focus on convention over configuration. For more information on what it is and how it works see the introduction. If you are ready to get start using it download it and read the install document. You should be able to get a build server up and running in no time. There are many packages that come with CI Factory. In the current Beta 0.8 there are 25 packages. CASI

Compare

  Analyzed 10 months ago

Easily run large and continuously changing batches of scripts. CASI is a tool to make instillations easier. If you've ever maintained software with an sql database that is installed on many different sites you are probably familiar with the problems associated with making changes to the database. ... [More] Continuous integration, branching, Q‎A, and building release sets are all difficult because you have to keep track of what changes have been applied to what copies of the database. CASI along with a few development guidelines will cut though these problems and will help streamline your development and install process. [Less]

treetrim

Compare

  Analyzed about 1 year ago

Tree TrimThis is a command line tool that trims your source code tree. It removes debug files, source control bindings, and temporary files. An example would be: treetrim.console.exe c:\my\tree -deletefromdisk This would delete the debug files and folders in c:\my\tree Updates: ... [More] v.1.0.1 Includes a 'show in explorer' plugin which opens up an Explorer window showing the output of the previous plugin. The shell's context menu entries are now written to the correct key in the registry. Thanks to Matt (http://sticklebackplastic.com/) for the tip. It is based on the excellent CleanSourcesPlus project. It can compress, email, or copy the output. The tool is plugin based so can be extended to include whatever functionality you wish. It can be included as a task in your CI environment. For more information, please see the FAQ page Examples of the command lineHere's a couple of examples of the command line: treetrim.console c:\my\tree -deletefromdisk This removes the debug files and folders found in your source tree treetrim.console c:\my\tree -workingcopy -deletefromdisk This makes a working copy and removes the debug files and folders from the working copy. treetrim.console c:\my\tree -workingcopy -deletefromdisk -zip:writeTo:c:\out.zip This makes a working copy, removes the debug stuff, and writes the output to zipped file. treetrim.console c:\my\tree -workingcopy -deletefromdisk -zip -email This makes a working copy, removes the debug stuff, zips it up in a temporary file, and emails it. The order of the tasks on the command line dictates the order in which the items are run. workingcopy is a task - it makes a working copy. zip is a task - it compresses the output of the previous task. The output from one task is the input to the next task. In the example above, it went: make a working copy remove the debug -- in the temporary folder that the previous task created zip it -- zips the contents of that folder email it -- emails the content of the previous task, which is a zip file Please also take a look at Tree Trim discussion group.
