  Analyzed almost 6 years ago

A growing collection of tools to help you edit & author HTML/XML documents. The Tab Abbreviations add-on has been merged into HTML Toolkit. Please uninstall Tab Abbreviations to avoid compatibility issues. What it does: ‘>’ — auto-complete tag; knows all about HTML 4/5 and won't ... [More] auto-complete invalid tags; recognises empty elements (, , etc.) and completes accordingly ‘Ctrl + >’ — convert word under cursor to a tag ‘TAB’ — expand abbreviation or convert word under cursor to a tag if no matching snippet is found ‘Shift + Space’ — insert   entity ‘Ctrl + Enter’ — insert tag and move caret to a new line ‘Shift + Enter’ at line-end — create new list item, table row, table column, etc. ‘Ctrl+Alt+W’ — wrap selection/current line in a tag ‘TAB/Shift+TAB’ — jump before/after closing tag ‘Ctrl & mouse over’ — preview url(…) images in CSS files ‘Ctrl + Shift + Alt + L’ — turn word under cursor/selection into a hyperlink using Google ‘Ctrl + Alt + D’ — duplicate line as template Lorem Ipsum generator: type: lipsum followed by either .chars, .words or .paras and *times e.g. lipsum.words*100[press TAB] will produce a paragraph with 100 Lorem Ipsum words Markdown & Wiki preview panels How to Install? Download the XPI file Fire up Komodo 5 Select Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions Drag and drop the XPI file onto the Add-ons window Wait and confirm the installation You must restart Komodo for changes to take effect. What's in it for Developers? The new 1.0+ version allows developers to add custom abbreviations providers. The Lorem Ipsum generator is an example of such a provider. You can develop your own to automate common tasks. There is no documentation at this point, but the code should be easy to follow. HTML Toolkit is modular. You can add your own commands and take advantage of the tools already available. Browse the source code below and ask any questions you might have! [Less]

scp-for-komodo-ide

Compare

  Analyzed about 1 year ago

This is a bare-bones extension to provide basic SCP services to the Komodo IDE as an extension. The extension uses OS-level scp and a basic project mapping policy to copy the active file to a remote server. I'm still working on the Documentation, so if you happen to come across this extension ... [More] before I have actual docs, email me. The TodoList contains a short list of items that are not complete, but that would make the extension even better. I've written a brief blog post about this extension: http://www.thewhyandthehow.com/scp-for-komodo-ide/ [Less]

komodo-projects-fastopen

Compare

  Analyzed about 1 year ago

Integrates the Fast Open extension under the Projects pane. What it does: The built-in filter box under the Projects pane is out-of-date, slow and has issues with projects where Live Import is turned off. The new Fast Open extension in contrast is fast, works well with any type of project, and ... [More] best of all it can index files from history. This extension replaces the built-in filter box with an updated Fast Open box: How to Configure? The default key binding is set to Ctrl + `. If this combination is already in use on your Komodo instance, you will need to configure a new one under Preferences. Search for User Interface: Show/Hide Projects Pane & Focus Fast Open and assign a custom key binding. How to Install? First, make sure you have the Fast Open extension installed and enabled in Komodo. This should be the case for all 5.1+ installs. Download the XPI file Fire up Komodo 5 Select Tool -> Add-ons -> Extensions Drag and drop the XPI file onto the Add-ons window Wait and confirm the installation You must restart Komodo for changes to take effect. Limitations & Known Issues There are a few glitches in this extension: Full path to file trimmed: the Fast Open extension does not provide a way to customise the label for each result, thus having the full path on a separate line is not possible UI freeze: for some bizarre & unknown reason, using the extension prevents menus from having their hover effect: (note menu item is not highlighted on mouse hover) Help here is appreciated. Compare

  Analyzed about 1 year ago

The Django Komodo Kit intends to various utilities and plugins to enhance productivity while implementing Django-based projects using Komodo Edit or Komodo IDE. The baseline for the feature set will be the freely available Komodo Edit application. The ActiveState Komodo editor/IDE is built on ... [More] Mozilla technology and it provides a lot of easy to use hooks for customizing your environment. With a focus on Django development, this project will provide and collect: snippets macros commands toolbars templates extensions Since a user of Komodo Edit will have individual preferences for which aspects of the application they are most comfortable with, features will be available via as many editor-specific hooks as makes sense. For example, a feature to create stub code for a new Model could appear as a toolbar button, a context menu item in various places, or a snippet. One auxiliary goal of the project is to implement as much as possible in Python. Some combination of interfacing with XPCOM or possibly experimenting with Django apps that output XUL will be investigated. Learn more about DKK Try it out [Less]
