flash-chat-room

Compare

I recently created a Flash chat room that was briefly put on the Newgrounds home page… before my server crashed! I was using my laptop as the server, which quite frankly is annoying, because it slows down my entire OS and I have to boot into Ubuntu to run it sucks as a server. Trust me. So, I ... [More] don't feel like hosting it again. It's just a nuisance for me. And so... I am open-sourcing my chat engine. I am giving you all the opportunity to use and modify it, for whatever purpose you want. If you want to upload it to Newgrounds and take the glory, feel free. By the way, Newgrounds said they would be willing to host it themselves until their official chat launches, so this post is also for any NG staff that want to implement it. [Less]

chatroomapp

This is a simple IM/chatroom app that routes all messages through a server app. It is not intended for commercial use, not very scalable. It's more of an experiment, and will most likely not suit your needs. It's good for classroom use.
