e-Gen

  No analysis available

e-Gen Developer is a Rapid Application Development (RAD) environment that enables a highly productive development of transactional Web applications, entirely written in Java and based on Java Server Faces ( next version ) and Jakarta Struts framework. The main purpose of e-Gen is to overcome some ... [More] of the most relevant challenges faced by IT managers: increase the productivity, reduce the maintenance costs, and reduce the time needed for training the team members. The productivity of the development team is fundamental to accomplish the projects in the right time and with low costs. The e-Gen provides to the developer team with a set of visual resources and facilities that make the application development a very easy and fast task. The maintenance of the systems is also a very important element because the business environments are more dynamic than ever before. In the e-Gen, the generated code is the same for all the members of the team. All the maintenance tasks can be easily done in the same environment and it is not necessary to read or to write anything in the source code files. The application maintenance becomes easy and fast, enabling any member of the team to do the task. The Web-based applications are supported by a set of technologies (HTML, JSF, Java Script, XML, DHTML, Java APIs, JSP, Servlets, SQL, etc) and the team must be prepared to handle all of them. This means a high cost of training and difficulties to maintain the productivity of the team. The e-Gen generates all codes using the best practices and patterns, even when the programmer is not an expert. The inclusion or substitution of a programmer can be done easily and with low cost of training. Working with e-Gen, we have experimented a highly increase in the team productivity. We could reduce the costs and the time of the systems maintenance. The management of the quality of the work became much easier, because the e-Gen reduced sharply the knowledge requirements of each team member. The result is the rapid development of applications with scalability, performance, manageability, reliability, security, quality and low cost. Visit the e-Gen Developer Website [Less]

  Analyzed about 4 hours ago

The goal of MVC Editor is to provide a truly integrated development environment for developing mid to large size web applications using the LAMP stack and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. The main objectives are: Made specifically for PHP web applications; taking into account web ... [More] application issues such as pretty URLs, active record patterns, duck-typing, and virtual hosts. Provide a clutter-free, tight interface for managing PHP source code that has a native look on either Windows, Linux and Mac. Reduce the time it takes to develop and debug applications by actively communicating with MySQL and Apache processes Leverage existing MVC frameworks (Symfony, CakePHP, Zend) [Less]

lua.vim

The Lua file type plug-in for Vim makes it easier to work with Lua source code in Vim by providing the following features: - the gf (go to file) mapping knows how to resolve Lua module names using package.path - Vim follows dofile(), loadfile() and require() calls when looking for identifiers ... [More] in included files - when you save a Lua script the syntax is automatically checked - F1 on a Lua function or method call will jump to the Lua Reference for Vim - Control-X Control-U supports completion of Lua 5.1 keywords, global variables and library members - Control-X Control-O supports dynamic completion of installed modules and their fields - Custom text-objects and the % mapping enable jumping between blocks and functions [Less]

This plug-in improves the integration between Vim and your operating system: - The :Fullscreen command and F11 mapping toggle Vim between normal and full-screen mode - The :Maximize command and Control-F11 mapping toggle Vim between normal/maximized state: They show/hide the menu bar, tool ... [More] bar and/or tab line - The :Open command and mapping know how to open file and directory names, URLs and e-mail addresses in your favorite programs (file manager, web browser, e-mail client, etc) - The xolox#shell#execute() function enables other Vim plug-ins to execute external commands in the background (i.e. asynchronously) without opening a command prompt window on Windows Two Windows DLL files are included to perform these functions on Windows, while on UNIX external commands are used. luainspect.vim

The Vim plug-in luainspect.vim uses the LuaInspect tool to (automatically) perform semantic highlighting of variables in Lua source code. It was inspired by lua2-mode (for Emacs) and the SciTE plug-in included with LuaInspect. In addition to the semantic highlighting the following features are ... [More] currently supported: - renames the variable under the text cursor - gd (in normal mode) with the text cursor on a variable jumps to its declaration - in graphical Vim variables have tool tips - the variable under the text cursor can be highlighted - wrong argument counts for functions are marked - warnings from static analysis are shown in a location list window - syntax errors are visually marked as spelling errors [Less]
