JSS7 is an implementation of SS7 telephony protocol in Java, aims to create an open source, multiplatform, SS7 protocol stack. This project is inspired by openss7 (www.openss7.org) and asterisk (www.asterisk.org)
python libraries for generation SMS traffic over a SCTP stack.
Full stack is SMS GSM 0340/GSM MAP/TCAP/SCCP/M3UA/SCTP
Python SCTP interface is provided by Elvis Pfützenreute's pysctp module (included here for convenience).
These classes are intended for test purposes only. The libraries have
... [More] been tested for connecting to a Cisco ITP and emulating a SMSC, HLR and MSC for network emulation purposes. Parsing of incoming messages is only done in a very rudimentary manner only. [Less]
OverviewThe tcap application is a protocol stack implementation of the Transaction Capabilities Application Part (TCAP) of Signaling System No. 7 (SS7). Transaction Capabilities (TC) users include the Intelligent Network Application Protocol (INAP) and the Mobile Application Part (MAP).
ImplementationThe stack includes both the ITU and ANSI variants.
This project is written entirely in the Erlang programming language.
