Change of repository

Hey there.

I decided to switch from my homegrown svn server to googlecode and I did some svndumpfilter stuff on the way (actually more than that). Now my repository is back up on googlecode and I could just add a new enlistement.

However, I read somewhere in the forum that repositories are parsed incrementally. Of course the increment here is the whole repository but the changes are massive. Apart from relabeled revisions due to svndumpfiler, I also changed the paths of the files, including reverting a renaming of the top-level directory (to work around ohloh's parser's bug of not being able to track moves in the repository) and rewriting the old commit authors to the new googlecode logins.

With all this I'm asking myself: Will this completely screw up my statistics? Is there a way for you to reset a project's statistics and just start from scratch?

Thanks in advance for any light you might shed,

Hagen.

Hi Hagen,

We use the URL as the key for recognizing repositories. If you moved this repository to a new URL, then in Ohloh's opinion it is a completely new repository, and we will not try to do an incremental update.

Go ahead and just add the new enlistment. If you add the new Google repository and remove the existing one, you will get a completely new report.

Googlecode is pretty fast for us, so you should see your new statistics soon.
