Hello,
I reorganized my directory structure for my SVN repo for MQManager.net. I have just added the new repisitory enlistment:
https://mqmanager.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mqmanager/trunk/mqmanager-net/MQManager.Net
/trunk/mqmanager-net/MQManager.Net
Should I remove the old one or will I lose that commit history? The new repository folder was moved from the old one.
Also,
The import of the new enlistment claims to have suceeded, but its not showing the new commits.
Hi zippy,
Good questions. Right now, we don't support SVN directory moves, and the old history will be lost.
As you suggested, leaving the old enlistment might have worked. The problem is that fetching from it is failing:
svn: REPORT request failed on '/svnroot/mqmanager/!svn/bc/42/trunk/mqmanager-net/MQManager.Net'
svn: '/svnroot/mqmanager/!svn/bc/42/trunk/mqmanager-net/MQManager.Net' path not found
Since we're presumably going to receive this error permanently now, I removed the old enlistment. The good news is that we're now showing the new commits from after the directory move and we should continue to receive additional changes.
