Again, an old problem we have talked about already:
For the sidux project we use serveral different repos, the main one being at Berlios. However, we have since years there a sub project structure, which leads to a log list of repos we do not want to add one by one manually. Here is the pattern: http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/fullstory/*/trunk
Additionally your bot fails to crawl https://noc.sidux.com/svn/manual/trunk - don't know why.
Please help!
Greetings,
Chris
Hi slam,
The failure to crawl https://noc.sidux.com/svn/manual/trunk was caused by a problem on our end. I have fixed the problem and can restart the import, but it looks like this repository has already been removed from Ohloh.
I know that it is a serious pain for projects which have a lot of subprojects and use the the subproject/trunk
layout for their Subversion repositories. A lot of Subversion repositories use this layout. It's a pain on our end as well, believe me.
I do hope we can offer some solution for this, but there is currently no plan to work on this. I do hope we'll find some time in the future. Consider your request noted; and we know that you're not the only one.
Thanks,
Robin
Hi,
I have re-added https://noc.sidux.com/svn/manual/trunk , but unfortunately it failed again to crawl.
What is your proposal about the main repo http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/fullstory/*/trunk ? Is there any chance you can grab the list of sub project names from http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/fullstory/ and add those repos via script?
Greetings,
Chris
Hi Chris,
Looking through the log, it looks like we are getting connection reset by peer
errors when trying to download this repository. It has restarted and failed a couple of times.
I'm watching it now, and it appears to be running OK for now. It should continue to reschedule itself if it runs into more disconnections.
Unfortunately, I cannot add repositories with a script. The only option is to manually add the repositories.
Thanks,
Robin
