What determines order of projects on personal account page?
It looks like they are just ordered based on time of adding a project. However this is not really helpful when you contribute to many projects.
What about ordering them by commits (in the last year/total)?

Hmm, I reviewed our code, and as it turns out, the projects are not sorted in any particular order.
I agree that sorting them by recent activity of some sort is a good idea. Commits during the last year might not be easy for us to do efficiently, but we can probably come up with something close to that.
It seems that this came up once before, but it never actually got fixed. I've opened a ticket. This seems easy enough to fix, so hopefully we can get something done about it.

Before this area was essentially not sorted by anything meaningful.
As of this morning we now sort it by most recent commit.
