Link reordering and reviving

Hello Ohloh staff.

In one project I added, two of the links were in an order I didn't liked. Since there isn't an option to reoder links, I thought I'd work around this by deleting the first link, and then adding it again as a second one.

But then I got an error saying link has already been submitted, even though the link was deleted.

The project in question is called PEAR2_Net_Transmitter, and the link is http://pear2.github.com/PEAR2_Net_Transmitter/Documentation/1.0.0a2/

While I understand that for most people link order is irrelevant (and therefore I wouldn't blame you for putting such a feature request as a low priority), I hope at least for the error to be fixed.

Thank you.

Vasil,

As with many things around here, delete doesn't really mean delete. I will pass along the request to have the process more transparent and hopefully, the problem will be fixed in this case. Explore the edit/history page to see if any of this shows there (I didn't see it, though.)

Thanks!

Vasil,

I did undo the deletion and the link is back (though not where you wanted it to be...)

Thanks!

Actually it's right where I wanted it to be (Wiki link first, API docs second, as is now).

Double thanks ^_^ .

Hi,

I got the same in Apache-OFBiz project, I can't add again (after remowing them I still get has already been submitted) the links:
http://ofbiz.apache.org/documentation.html
https://cwiki.apache.org/OFBADMIN/mailing-lists.html

TIA

Jacques,

You get two opportunities (maybe three) since we can't identify that https: addresses are the same as the corresponding http: addresses. I also see that some URL's have been submitted with no transport ID at all (though those may be old entries.)

I have put in functioning links that seem to work OK.

Thanks!
