Linux kernel activity accurate?

https://www.ohloh.net/p/linux

It appears that either the Linux kernel has seen a serious decrease in participation in the last month or the reporting is inaccurate. Is there something that can be done to make the reporting on the Linux kernel better? Unless the decrease in commits and commiters in the last month is accurate Linux should be the most active project on ohloh.net.

John,

It's doubtful that the stats are up-to-date since one enlistment had failed to update properly. It's back on track now but all the enlistments in this project are complex and take plenty of time to analyze. The troubled one is currently at (4952/225705) commits done but I can't offer any projection when it will finish.

Don't hesitate to ping me here and ask about the progress.

Thanks!

John,

An update - Job is at (21601/93337). (This is really 153969/225705 since we only list what is left to process after an interruption).

This fetch is about 58 days old.

Thanks!

Thank you for keeping me updated. This site is a great resource, apparently Linux is just so large that it is difficult to keep the reporting up-to-date.

John,

It is truly a set-back to need to re-fetch (or initially fetch) an enlistment of the size and complexity of this one. Sometimes it can't be helped, though. I haven't even checked to see if this enlistment is new or established since it doesn't make a difference to the actual progress. I calculate it is 68% done but still no projection of when it will finish, alas.

Thanks!
