No access to FedoraHoste-GIT?

Hi,

my project shows a failed state for this repository while the URL is correct:

http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/OpenAPC.git

Any ideas what could be wrong here?

OpenAPC,

Update failed 185 days ago due to a missing master branch. Checked from my workstation and all seemed OK. Rescheduled the failed update which finished OK (185 added commits). Analysis is now at January 31, 2013 on code collected on January 31, 2013 and last commit is at January 31, 2013 - about 18 hours ago.

Please keep an eye on it for me and remind me here if the updates fail again.

Thanks!

May be there was a one-time problem with the remote GIT server? Does Ohloh retry at a later date in such a case or does it stop and lock in case of an error?

Anyway, thanks for the help!

OpenAPC,

I don't believe we have a re-try strategy for this type of error though we do have one for many other errors. It's an odd failure where the repository reports the master branch as being missing. Perhaps we need to think about a retry though it would be useful to know how long it was reported to be missing for. Our retries are generally in minutes then an hour then increasing back-off periods until it gives up after ten retries perhaps a month later.

I'll think upon it.

Thanks!
