Project not downloading source

Hi,

At some time flightgeardata stoppen updating. I've tried adding mirrors to the enlistment, but it got stuck completely. Could you please restart it?

Thanks!

Gijs,

It will take a while to figure this out - it's one of the projects that's impacted by a bug that has been slow in being fixed. Eventually, though, you should see some minimal Perl code emerge and a boat-load of XML as well. Not much else in this repository to chew on though it's over 4Gb compressed. The commits should all be visible, though.

I'll keep you up-to-date here as I find additional info.

Thanks!

Hi,

thanks for looking into this! Not sure if I understand your comment though. It's correct that the repository is mostly XML files, but there's no Perl code involved. I cannot see any commits either at https://www.ohloh.net/p/flightgeardata/commits

Cheers,
Gijs

Gijs,

Once we can get past the issue you will see a lot of XML and four perl files from somewhere in the repository. Your initial fetch can't run yet due to the bug. I brought down the tarball and analyzed it but it is so huge I had to delete it.

Mainly audio, image files, documentation and XML description files. Four Perl scripts. Mighty thin gruel. 7.7 Gb uncompressed!

Thanks!

Ah ok, get it now. Yes, the repository is enormous. We do have plans to split it, but with so many people and opinions involved, it takes some time to get that all sorted out. :-)

Thanks!

Gijs,

Believe it or not, success! Rescheduled Fetch which finished OK (16815 total commits). A full update started immediately and also finished OK (6 added commits). Analysis is now at August 27, 2013 on code collected on August 27, 2013 and last commit is at August 26, 2013 - about 12 hours ago.

Please remind me here if the project goes astray again.

Thanks!

P.S. I see you guys have been busy... There's a lot more languages present than I ever expected. 4300 lines of C++ for example. Worth the wait.
