Weird update issues (LedgerSMB)

LedgerSMB (http://www.ohloh.net/p/ledger-smb) is experiencing some really odd update issues. Like some of our issues this began around when I made a set of fairly large commits. Unlike past issues the update seems only partially blocked (why I figure it is worth mentioning it now rather than waiting).

The stats never change. Every day the analysis counter starts over but the stat retrieval counter keeps aging. First it was updated one hour ago based on code collected one day ago. Now it is updated one hour ago based on code collected three days ago.

Whether or not you need to do anything for my project this seems fairly clear that it is not desired behavior on your part (repeatedly re-analyzing the same code). If nothing else, I figure you may want to look into it.

Chris,

The repetitive analyses are from an unknown source. The edits page does not reveal a reason. It may be generated here to resolve some problem on ohloh's side? I have forced an update just now and expect it to finish OK soon (it will add 67 commits). Four days is not outside the norm for right now, though. We have experienced explosive growth and there is a preference given to new projects in their first fetch. Hopefully we will settle into a routine again soon.

Standby...

Chris,

Update has finished. Analysis is now at January 28, 2014 on code collected on January 28, 2014 and last commit is at January 28, 2014 - about 2 hours ago.

Please let me know here if problems show up again.

Thanks!

Sure. Will do. It wasn't an edit to the page, but large updates to the source code, that have corresponded with the last few times we've had trouble. Just figured I would mention that since maybe it might be related to something taking longer than expected or something.

The project has been seeing the same issue again for a week (i.e. the last code update was the one you manually initiated). It doesn't really matter to me how quickly this gets updated now. But it is happening again. Something seems rather wrong ;-). Feel free to delay a kick-off for any troubleshooting you wish to do.

In case it is unclear, the statistics say they are updating every day but the code they are based on hasn't updated in a week.
