About the UI
Do you have any plans for updating the UI ? It is really cramped and claustrophobic and just looks kind of old in my opinion (Sorry if this sounds a bit a**hole-ish). Also it is not working properly in all browsers and mobile (and monitors with large resolutions for that matter).
If you need some help with this (seeing that it is OSS) I'll gladly make some designs and markup for you.
Hey andersevenrud. Thank you for the feedback and concern about our UI! Unfortunately, at this very moment, we do not have plans on updating our UI. The team and I at Open Hub have our hands tied with rewriting and upgrading our frame work architecture and significantly over hauling how we calculate the analytics for projects and repositories. We are thrilled that you are willing to contribute to our UI to address the changes you would like to see. As of right now though, our UI architecture is a private repo but we will open source it soon! As for the browser bugs, could you direct us to the errors you see? While we aren't focused primarily on our HTML and CSS for the layout we are concerned about UI bugs to our users and we can go ahead and fix that up. Lastly, we have plans to address our mobile presence but like I said before we need to address our back end structure before moving on to those. I hope that helps.
