How about a search feature for the forums?
We have forum search, but no one can ever find it.
Point taken, and we'll have to rework our interface to make it more obvious.
Type your search string into the box at the top of the page. After it takes you to the (probably empty) project search results page, click the Posts
link directly above the search box, and you'll be taken to the posts search results page.
Thanks -- and glad to see I'm not the only one still waiting for a more prominent forum search form :)
