Greeting! We are pleased to announce that the installer for TortoiseHg 0.5 is now available for download on SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=199155 Here are some highlight of this release: - added ... [More] support for TortoiseSVN's TortoiseOverlays project, allowing TortoiseHg to share the limit overlay icon slots with TortoiseSVN 1.5.x in MS-Explorer. - new command-line syntax for hgtk, with help support. - preliminary support in commit dialog to undo recent commit. As with TortoiseHg 0.4.1, release 0.5 is linked with Mercurial 1.0.2. You may find in the TortoiseSVN's release note for more info on TortoiseOverlays and related issues it tried to address: http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/tsvn_1.5_releasenotes.html#Overlays IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. You must uninstall the previous version of TortoiseHg before upgrading to 0.5, so that the registry are properly managed. 2. When uninstalling TortoiseHg 0.5, the TortoiseOverlays is not uninstalled, as it may still be in need by other Tortoise clients that supports TortoiseOverlays, such as TortoiseSVN. It is safe to reinstall TortoiseHg 0.5 later, as the installer will detect the presence of TortoiseOverlays, and will not attempt to install it again. Please checkout TortoiseHg's release note for the list of changes in this release: http://www.bitbucket.org/tksoh/tortoisehg/src/tip/ReleaseNotes.txt In addition to the changes on TortoiseHg, this installer also saw the following change: - The gPyFm merge-tool is not longer bundled (see bug 2119067) - Fix merge-tool priority in bundled mercuril.ini file. As usual, non-Windows users of TortoiseHg can pull from the main repository to get the latest release of hgtk and the dialogs: http://www.bitbucket.org/tksoh/tortoisehg Do note that the main repository has been relocated to Bitbucket.org.
