The win32 builds of both yacas 1.3.6 and yagy 1.0.1 do not work on Windows XP. This is so because of Visual Studio generating by default packages incompatible with Windows XP. Hence, we provide a separate build of both yacas and yagy called winxp to please all users of the good old XP.

Unfortunately, the 1.0.0 release wasn't particularly lucky for Windows. Some last minute changes broke the windows port badly, and even worse, went unnoticed. Hence the emergency bugfix release, targeted primarily for Windows users. While other ports ... [More] were not affected, we decided to provide a new version for all platforms. The release spree continues, with yagy (Yet Another Gui for Yacas) having been released today. Go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/yagy/ to see for yourself that math can be not only easy, but also good looking :)
