The Tournament Pool & Bracket Tracker is a J2EE application for easily administrating a sports tournament office pool. This is a major feature enhancement release. This release adds adds 10 feature requests and it is highly recommended to ... [More] upgrade. New this release is support for new technologies such as Java 6, Tomcat 7, and secured email servers with Java Mail support. New ways to administrate your pools are added with multi-level groups, multiple tie breakers, alphabetized team names, and the ability to plug-in automatic game updates with scores. In addition there are a few interface improvements for players. It is easier for players to add their brackets with an 'Assign a bracket to this pool' link. Players can see who is guaranteed to beat each bracket. When the tournament is done, it won't go to the archive until 1 week as has passed, making it easier for players to see how they did. https://sourceforge.net/projects/bracket-tracker/files/bracket-tracker/v0.6.1/ This application supports small groups or organizations who wish to provide an NCAA basketball tournament pool without a lot of administrative work in calculating up-to-date results and possibilities. It is web-based and thus users can register themselves and start entering their brackets on their own. They can edit and change and play with their selections in an easy to use interface, until they are either happy or run out of time. After the administrator of a group adds them to the group and provides at least one pool, the user can submit their finished bracket. Once the tournament begins, they cannot change it. Users can submit a single bracket in as many pools as they want or switch them up. Once the tournament is underway, as games complete, users can keep track of their progress as the administrator for a tournament updates the results of games.
