Project Summary

Bumblebee aims to provide support for nVidia Optimus laptops for GNU/Linux distributions. Using Bumblebee, you can use your nVidia card for rendering graphics which will be displayed using the Intel card.

Enabling and disabling the nVidia card is managed by bumblebeed daemon and it requires kernel support (bbswitch or switcheroo).

Currently, Bumblebee has been tested on Debian, Ubuntu, Arch and Gentoo Linux. If you have any questions join #bumblebee channel on Freenode.
