FileZilla is just my #1 choice to transfer files on Windows from and to FTP and - even using that more frequently: - SSH2 servers.
The SSH2-Filetransfer-feature (sometimes called sftp:// ) is really nice, since it allowes secure and easy to set up file transfer from Windows clients to Linux/Unix-boxes. Keep alive, firewall support, etc. make the program easy to use.

Filezilla has been my choice for FTP for many many years. Excellent features, user-friendly interface.

We've been using Filezilla for some time. It's very easy to use, although it occasionally crashes with Windows Vista. (A small price to pay for free software I'm sure you'll agree.)
