Project Summary

Aims to provide various Lua based plugins for Garrys Mod 10 to expand usability, namly in networking and scripting efficiency.

12/27/2006
Welcome to gmod-plugins. Currently we are still in the planning stages but hopefully we'll have some more detailed information about our scripts available. Until we have a proper site, this area will serve as a news hub.

There are two main projects in the development stage right now, GMTalk and GMEdit, a GMod based Google Talk client and ingame script editor respectivly.

GMTalk is currently on hold due to the lack of socket support in GMod 10 and a lack of SSL support for the Lua Socket library. The only way to currently log in and send a message is to auth using the X-GOOGLE-TOKEN.

GMEdit is also on hold as there isn't great support for advanced GUIs in GMod 10. It shouldn't be that hard to work around though.

Projects will be graded for completeness based on the following system:
     Phase 1: Planning
     Phase 2: Development
     Phase 3: Beta
     Phase 4: Release

Not actually a GMod plugin, but could easily be ported to it, 0byte is a chat server backend I have been working on for another project. The foundation is almost fully functional, requiring minor tweaks and some more functionality past just sending messages. With minimal work, it could be converted to a privatized, 'members only' chat server for GMod 10.

0byte: Phase 2
GMTalk: Phase 1
GMEdit: Phase 1
