Project Summary
Jaybird is a JDBC driver suite for the Firebird database server. Jaybird is developed as a pure Java implementation of the wire protocol, but also includes support for the native client-libraries and embedded Firebird (also through native libraries).
The Jaybird driver is based on the well known JDBC standard.
Jaybird (master) requires at least Java 8 to compile and run properly.
