We are in the process of moving jIDEE project hosting from our own fragile office computer to TuxFamily. If you notice any goofiness while this is happening, please let us know.

I've set up a Mercurial repository for the next version of jIDEE. The code that's there now is beta for Windows and Linux and pre-alpha for OS X.

I've established a documentation area for jIDEE. Note that the stuff there is relevant only to the next and future versions of jIDEE.

The first beta for jIDEE 2.0.0 has been released! You can get Windows and Linux versions from the beta archives. I doubt that an OS X version will be available until the Windows and Linux version are in stable release. Note that the only Windows ... [More] version that is officially supported by jIDEE 2 is Windows 7. I've done some limited testing with XP and it seems to work apart from some setup issues. However, neither XP nor Vista will be officially supported by jIDEE 2. Sources for beta releases are available only through the Mercurial repository. [Less]

jIDEE 2.0.0 is available for download in the download archives. The website will be update shortly to reflect the new milestone release.

jIDEE 2.0.1 fixes an issue with spaces in filenames in Linux and adds a custom icon again in Linux. The Windows version is not affected at all, so there is no Windows v2.0.1.

I am not currently maintaining jIDEE as my teaching focus has shifted away from Java.
