Project Summary

The new evolution of the Mifos core banking system for microfinance institutions of all descriptions. This version focuses on being faster, lighter, and more flexible to better meet the requirements of MFI's and their system integration partners. This project supercedes the original MIFOS project, although that project and its existing clients will be supported for the foreseeable future.

In 2012, the development of the Mifos platform was assumed by the Mifos Initiative, a US-based 501 (c)(3) charitable organization (formerly the Community for Open Source Microfinance).
