The ROHC library implements the RObust Header Compression (ROHC) protocol as defined by the IETF.
The ROHC protocol defines a standardized method for compressing IPv4, IPv6, UDP, UDP-Lite, RTP and TCP network packet headers. It performs well over links where the packet loss rate is high, such as wireless links.
The Uncompressed, IP-only, IP/UDP, IP/UDP-Lite, IP/ESP, IP/UDP/RTP, and IP/TCP compression profiles are currently supported.
