The Survey Builder project is part of a graduate course in software engineering at San Francisco State University. It has been created to supplement the "Distributed Collaboration" project, which brings teams of engineers from different (geographically dispersed) universities together to cooperate on a software development project (more info).
An important part of the Distributed Collaboration project is to collect data from the teams, and use that data to learn which engineering techniques worked well, and which did not. The project directors will use the Survey Builder application to construct custom surveys to be distributed to the project participants. The resulting data will be stored in a central database, where it can then be analyzed and applied towards future collaboration proj
