Feedback Forum : You need a security metric...

Wow! We didn't know about these security vulnerability reports. It's perfect for Ohloh and definitely belongs on our reports. We will add this feature very soon. I can't thank you enough for this ... [More] feature suggestion. Feel free to send me email directly at '[email protected]' and I'll send you one of our awesome, highly-coveted Ohloh T-Shirts (as seen at OSCON 2006 in Portland). Thanks again! -jay [Less]

Feedback Forum : search works poorly

Yes, that was pretty bad, especially considering how easy it was to fix. Thanks for pointing this out. It's much better now.

Technical Issue Help : not liking '+' in URL

Yes, this was a problem on our end. We were too strict in the characters we allow in a URL. I've adjusted the code to allow a '+' and added the repository to the project. Thanks, Robin

Technical Issue Help : can get CVS sources for hugs

Greetings viyyer, From reading the trac instructions, i found what your problem was: it required a password ('cvs'). I went ahead and added it for you. It's a sizeable project so it will probably ... [More] take a few hours to complete the analysis. Let me know if you have any more questions! [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Request for full download after cleanup

I recently cleaned up the repository of http://ohloh.net/projects/740 using svndumpfilter. It contained a lot of support material for building the documentation, which resulted in a mostly-Java ... [More] project to have 69% XML. To my understanding an incremental update of the stats will not realize that the XML files are gone (as they were not removed using svn remove), so the stats will remain with 69% XML. Please change the next scheduled download to get the full repository instead of just the changes in order to rebuild the stats from scratch. Thanks! [Less]

General Discussion : Maybe CIA and ohloh can cooperate?

Hi, I thought there is some similarity/overlap between CIA and Ohloh, so maybe they can cooperate somehow through XML-RPC, cross-validate, cross-compare their certain stats? -s

General Discussion : Broken Repository

I've removed https://infrae.com/svn/SilvaMetadata/trunk from the list of repositories. This repository is broken in the sense that some of the hidden .svn folders were actually checked into the ... [More] repository. This makes it impossible to checkout code revisions affected by this problem. Eventually, the .svn directories were deleted from the repository. It's possible that we could import all historical data after this point, but this would require us to ignore all activity before this point, and attribute all of the resulting lines of code to a phantom author. Here are excerpts from the Subversion log demonstrating the issue: r11569 | hazmat | 2003-04-22 07:45:28 -0700 (Tue, 22 Apr 2003) | 2 lines Changed paths: A /SilvaMetadata/trunk/Extensions/.svn Initial revision r18635 | guido | 2006-02-13 06:41:58 -0800 (Mon, 13 Feb 2006) | 2 lines Changed paths: D /SilvaMetadata/trunk/Extensions/.svn Trying to remove nasty remnants of some old SVN/CVS conversion. Feedback Forum : IDL support

Hello, There are some projects that have IDL interfaces code in them. Are there any plans to add the IDL language for CORBA-aware projects? There are three projects I found after a quick search for ... [More] IDL, but there must be more. (My project also has some stuff in IDL defined, but it's not fully in the repo yet to be processed yet, but I am afraid it'll take it as C/C++ or Java code). Thanks, -s [Less]
